The bill’s definition of misinformation is completely fallacious “… false information that is contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus … ” – argumentum ad populum, argumentum ad verecundiam
If taken to court, the state should be forced to prove the doctor’s statements false, and in order to do that would have to prove the CDC’s conclusions true. Simply saying “the CDC said so” does not constitute proof of anything. If falsehood the doctor’s statements can’t be proved, then it can’t be called misinformation. But that’s assuming there are still a few good judges, who would rule on the facts of the case, rather than their own opinion of what’s in the best interests of the state, true or not.
