A US Secret Service (USSS) agent accidentally shot himself on Saturday in Washington, DC. This comes as the USSS has been facing greater scrutiny in recent months.
The USSS confirmed that one of its agents accidentally discharged his weapon while on duty, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries. The agent was hospitalized following the incident, and no other individuals were harmed.
