On Wednesday, Russia accused the United States of prolonging its war against Ukraine by increasing the delivery of weaponry to Kyiv in advance of Donald Trump reentering the White House in January. The Kremlin also denied on Wednesday that it was involved in the cutting of telecommunications cables that ran beneath the Baltic Sea. European officials conveyed their suspicion on Tuesday that the invasion of Ukraine by Russia is associated with the “hybrid warfare” and “sabotage” that occurred as a result of the cutting of two telecommunications cables in the Baltic Sea within 48 hours.
