The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News that Ronald Lee Syvrud was taken into custody at 2:30 pm local time without incident. Charges against Syvrud are pending.
While speaking at the border on the Biden-Harris administration’s failed border policies Thursday afternoon, Donald Trump said that he was unaware of reports that a manhunt was underway in the same area for a man who threatened to kill him.
A reporter asked Trump whether he had heard of the manhunt in Cochise County, the same county where Trump was speaking, before arriving in the area, to which Trump said no.
