On June 1, 2024, The 77th World Health Assembly (WHA) amended the International Health Regulations. The WHA is the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) supreme decision-making body. It meets in May yearly and includes delegations from all Member States, Observers, the United Nations (UN), Intergovernmental Organizations, and non-state actors in official relations with WHO.
