Former Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Mark Milley fears he will be court-martialed by former President Donald Trump if he returns to the White House, according to a forthcoming book by Watergate journalist Bob Woodward.
“He is a walking, talking advertisement of what he’s going to try to do,” Milley told Woodward for his book “War,” according to The Guardian. “He’s saying it and it’s not just him, it’s the people around him.”
Woodward cited Trump’s former White House strategist Steve Bannon, currently jailed for contempt of Congress after refusing to cooperate with the Democrats’ unlawful Jan. 6 committee, as saying of Milley: “We’re gonna hold him accountable.”
Woodward went on to write that Milley told him, “He is the most dangerous person ever. I had suspicions when I talked to you about his mental decline and so forth, but now I realize he’s a total fascist. He is now the most dangerous person to this country. A fascist to the core.”
Milley has engaged in a several activities that call into question his allegiance to the United States.
It was revealed Milley was secretly back-channeling with the Chinese before the 2020 election, assuring the CCP military of advanced notice of U.S. military actions.
