In a significant legal outcome, Brian Jeffrey Raymond, a 48-year-old former CIA officer from La Mesa, was sentenced to three decades behind bars on Wednesday.
This sentencing comes after his guilty plea in November to charges including sexual abuse, abusive sexual contact, coercion and enticement, and the transportation of obscene materials. The U.S. Department of Justice detailed that Raymond acknowledged assaulting four women sexually after drugging them, engaging in nonconsensual sexual activities with six others, creating explicit content of 28 women without their consent, and drugging two more individuals.
