Kamala Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff spoke to a small crowd at the Broadleaf Brewery in Kentwood, Michigan Thursday to try to plug her presidential campaign. Things didn’t go well for him, however, when he tried to get the audience to join him in a chant of “USA! USA!”
His own attempt at the patriotic chant was already decidedly lame, but the audience’s was even more pathetic as they could barely muster up the enthusiasm to cheer for their country. Cringe:

At first, a few of them tried to go with the flow and join the chant, but then they abruptly stopped as if they suddenly realized, “Hey, we’re Democrats, we don’t chant that.” Watch especially Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on the left side of the video; her mouth barely moves.
