A key example of this discord was the disbanding of the group Muslim Women for Harris-Walz, which was formed to support Harris during the primaries. This group dissolved after the DNC refused to allow a Palestinian American to speak at the convention.
The “Uncommitted Movement,” which has been vocal in its support of Palestinian rights, had requested a speaking slot for a Palestinian American.
