(Discern Media)—It has been a while since we’ve written about the topic of unexplained deaths among young and otherwise healthy athletes. It’s not that their frequency has been lower. On the contrary, it has become even more common than last year. Unfortunately, the topic is not heavily discussed even on “conspiracy theory” outlets. It seems there has been fatigue.
With that said, it’s important to highlight these deaths because the story is always the same. An athlete or other celebrity dies at a young age. No cause of death is revealed. Corporate media never brings up the topic again.
The latest victim of the Unexplained Death Phenomenon is Darius Morris, a former guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was 33-years-old when his body was discovered somewhere in Los Angeles. According to TMZ:
Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Darius Morris died this week, TMZ Sports has confirmed. He was just 33 years old.
“With great sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved son, Darius Aaron Morris,” the former NBA player’s family said in a statement to us on Saturday morning. “During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”
Details surrounding his passing have not been revealed at this time … although we can confirm his body was discovered on Thursday in the Los Angeles area.

If it remains a mystery or is related to a previously unknown heart condition, this will be swept under the rug with thousands of other athletes who died suddenly in the last four years.
