Two Catholic churches in British Columbia were destroyed by fire early Monday morning, coinciding with National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada.
The first fire lit up before 1:30 a.m., causing severe damage to the 110-year-old Sacred Heart Church on the Penticton Indian Reserve, reports the Penticton Herald .
